Are We Ready for The Daily?

"Both Apple and News Corporation have sent out invitations to members of the media inviting them to the launch of The Daily, a newspaper designed specifically for the iPad."
Are readers ready to pay for news on their iPads? At a rumored 99 cents per week, it'll be competing with some pretty established news apps. It will be interesting to see how The Daily will be tailored specifically for the iPad. My guess is that it'll be pretty spectacular ...
