Apple Modifies Policy on Water Damage

"As reported by igeneration.fr, Apple has amended its stance on water damage to iPods. As you can see below, Apple will allow some leeway in water damage, even if the red indicator has been triggered, so long as no corrosion is present."

While Apple Geniuses usually have leeway in policy enforcement, it's nice to see this in writing. There have been reports that the LCI can be activated without there being any water damage at all (for example, during high humidity). I'm glad Apple has listened to users (and probably their Geniuses) and changed their policy.
