Here's an example of what can be expected from the iPad 2's video recording. This YouTube example is 360p and filmed under pretty harsh conditions, so actual videos and sound should be better. And, with iMovie onboard, the ability to edit and manipulate the videos seems pretty impressive. I do wonder how this (larger) form factor will work for comfortably capturing videos, compared to, for example, an iPhone or a Flip Video camera.
