Into Weather? App Store Has You Covered

"In my line of work, I do quite a bit both indoors and outdoors. As such, it is crucial for me to know the weather forecast at the drop of a hat. The weather app built into the iPhone is a simple, no fluff, no garbage, weather app. It does its job well, but any weather app can give you the highs and lows for the day. Oftentimes I find myself needing to know the humidity, wind speeds, or sunrise/sunset times and other nonsensical information."

This is a pretty good roundup on what is available in the App Store if you are interested in the weather, and really, who isn't? 10 apps that the author goes over , about 1/2 of them are free apps. The Weather Channel is mentioned under the free app section, and that has been my weather app since it was introduced. Does everything I need it to, but it would almost be worth it to have it paid app to get rid of the banner ad. Like the author, I agree that the size of the banner ad sometimes is a bit too large. But I digress, if you are interested in some of the weather apps available, the article gives a nice rundown of 10 of the apps.
