Apple Thoughts: AT&T Visual Voicemail Not Behaving

"Several reports suggest AT&T may be experiencing problems with delayed alerts for voicemail messages sent to iPhones. Tech support representatives provided more insight to Glenn Tenney, a computer security expert who recently noticed that many messages took days before being listed in the iPhone's visual voicemail."

Yessiree bob, I've had this issue a lot lately. More than I ever did before. I think AT&T's network is starting to buckle a bit under the traffic. All told, this message took 15 seconds to get to my phone so I can't complain too much, but there are times when I'll get messages an hour later, or when the phone won't ring and I'll just get a voicemail indicator.

It's kind of a pain in the butt, but for the few times I actually get voicemail, it's not a dealbreaker.
