"When I initially asked Case-mate to send over their Credit-card-holding iPhone 4 case, I was planning on including it as part of a post called "Your wallet is dead", based on the idea that smartphones can pretty much entirely supplant those bulging hunks of cow skin we gents lug around."

I like where this case is going, and if I was going out most likely all I would need to take is my ID and one other card. The case appears very slim and provides good protection. No spot for cash, but most of the time I never carry cash either. The only downside I see is the cost, priced at $34.99 USD. Ouch. Is that too much to pay for convenience for you?

I tried going to the Make My Case page, but it still only lists the 3G/3GS version of the iPhone, so in the near future I'm sure it will be up and running. Regardless, the page is pretty cool and it allows you to pick from a variety of artists to customize a case for your iPhone, Blackberry Bold or Curve and iPod Touch. You can pick designs already done by the artist or customize one for yourself, based on the artists style.

This is the perfect case for those on a budget, or those that have a habit of losing their iPhone/iPod Touch cases. You can even buy a pack of 10 for $7.99 USD (individual cases are $0.99 USD). Only comes in one color though, but they do offer some Sharpie personalization! Cool!
