Awesome concept for smartphone games that are first person shooters. You can preorder yours here, and they are expected to run about $30.00 USD when it is launched this summer. Yes, this is made to use with any smartphone, be it iPhone, Android or Windows Phones.

"We posted about Archetype the other day -- it's an impressively solid multiplayer first-person shooter for the iPhone that brings some hardcore gameplay to Apple's touchscreen platform."

The game sells for $2.99 USD in the iTunes Store [affiliate link], and it proves if you do a multiplayer FPS game right, you are going to get the sales. The game has been out about a week and they already have over 160,000 players registered. I love FPS type games so I'm adding this to my list. Anyone out there already playing, and if so, what are your thoughts about the game?

I love FPS games but have yet to try this one. Now that it is available in iTunes for free, I'm going to have to get it and give it a go.
