"First off, a big thanks to all of you that sent kudos and "Nooooooo's" in response to our shutdown announcement. We take enormous pride in the sync service we worked so hard to create and it means a lot to hear how much our users love what we've built."
I know many of you use Xmarks to coordinate your bookmarks and keep them in sync between browsers, so I'm sure the news of their impending shut down was like a kick in the gut. However, now it appears there may be hope! Head on over to the blog for Xmarks and see what they are up to, and go to the pledge page to let them know about how much you would be willing to spend if Xmarks went to a subscription based service. They are only taking pledges right now to gain some insight into how viable it all might be so there is no risk, but there could be reward for those of you that use the service.
