"Scosche (http://www.scosche.com) is now shipping the US$149.99 backStage pro II, a headrest mount for iPad 2. The mount secures an iPad 2 to the back of any headrest so passengers can enjoy handsfree viewing of movies, apps and more."

You can find out more about this handy device at Scosche, but if you need a headrest mount for your iPad, this sure looks like just the ticket.

"Scosche has rolled out its new fitRail Exercise Mount for the iPad and iPad 2. Constructed from aluminum, steel, and plastic, the fitRail is designed to attach to most types of workout equipment, holding the iPad in place with a mounting tray, stickGrip material, and a clip-on neoprene strap that attaches to the top of the iPad."

And it double as a countertop stand for your iPad. $50.00 USD available now from Scosche.

The Switchback Surge from Scosche Industries

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad" @ 12:00 PM

http://www.macnews.com/2011/04/25/s...ge-g4-iphone

"Scosche Industries has announced the availability the switchBACK surge g4, an US$79.99 backup battery and kickstand case for iPhone 4."

It appears to be a pretty nice case, slim design and a kickstand no less. You can also get the free reVIVE app to use in conjunction with the battery pack so you know exactly how much time is available. The case is available for AT&T or Verizon iPhone 4s, and if you don't like using the app, it has 4 blue LED lights to let you know how much life is left in the battery. Its available now from Scosche and the app is available from iTunes. I'm not sure as I haven't tested it yet, but it appears you can even use the app to see how much time is left without having the kickstand case.

Scosche foldIO Case for iPad

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad" @ 03:05 PM

http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ne...-case-for-ipad/

"Scosche Industries has outed its new foldIO case for the Apple iPad. The foldIO is a folio-style case featuring a leather-textured exterior surface, suede interior lining, open access to all ports and controls, a low-profile design, and interior ribs to allow the case to function as a three position landscape stand."

I was at the Apple Bridgeport Store yesterday and was able to play around with this for a few minutes, someone else at the store just purchased it and was putting it on their iPad. It really works pretty well and was impressed with the construction. It is a bit expensive at roughly $50.00 USD, but it has numerous configurations so it pretty much does anything you need it to do.

Scosche and the iPod Shuffle

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Other Apple Hardware" @ 10:00 AM

http://cultofmac.com/ipod-3g-shuffl...n-control/11592

"The latest iPod shuffle is arguably too small to need a case to keep it from harm, but the folks at Scosche devised a case with external controls - so you can plug in other headphones instead of relying on the originals."

This is a great solution if you have the latest iPod Shuffle. Very slick interface that also comes with a cable you can plug right into your input in the car, if your stereo has that option. This is due out in the first week of July 2009. You can pre-order over at Scosche, and it will be selling for $29.99 USD.

ReCoil iPhone/iPod Adapter for Your Auto

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple iPhone & iPod Touch" @ 01:00 PM

http://www.macworld.com/article/140...l?lsrc=rss_news

"iPod and iPhone accessory vendor Scosche has released ReCoil, a car-charging solution that connects to your vehicle's 12-Volt accessory jack ("cigarette lighter" socket) and charges an iPod or iPhone via a built-in dock-connector cable."

This is another "Made for iPod/Made for iPHone" device so you can be sure it will work. I have a few adapters for my cars that sit in a drawer because I didn't make sure when I bought them. This one seems rather cool since the cable is retractable, and at $30.00 USD, not too bad of a price for something that works with both iPods and iPhones.
