"IGG Software announced the immediate availability of iBank for the iPad on Wednesday. The personal finance management app has previously been available for the Mac and iPhone, but now is available with an iPad-native interface."

This is one of the better financial apps if you want to have your banking on your iPhone as well as your Mac. And now it's even better that they have released a version for the iPad. It's available now for $14.99 USD.

Looking for a Good Finance Program for Your Mac/iPhone?

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 11:04 AM

"If you're a Quicken user there's no doubt that you've been disappointed over the last several years with diminishing value in what was once the preeminent personal finance application on the Mac. IGG Software is set to fix what ails you."

The best thing about this software, is that you can try it for 30 days without purchasing. And I don't mean a scaled down version that is limited; it has all the bells and whistles. That is one reason why I started using it and continue to use it. I also feel like it is one of the easiest to use, and I've used several including several variations of Quicken. If you are looking for a good money management/banking program, this one might fill your needs so is worth a look. They also have an iPhone app that syncs via the cloud, so you have the same info on your home/laptop computer and your iPhone. It's available from the IG Software site or you can pick it up in the App Store [affiliate link], both are priced at $59.95 USD. Be warned, however, that the 30 day trial isn't set up if you go through the App Store. The iPhone version can be purchases from iTunes for $4.99 USD [affiliate link].

Tired of Quicken? Switch to iBank and get Cash Back!

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 12:00 PM

http://www.tuaw.com/2009/07/27/iban...uicken-for-mac/

"If there's one software company and product line that can raise the ire of even the most mellow Mac user, it's Intuit and the Quicken line of accounting software."

Quicken for the Mac does annoy me. I keep waiting for the iPhone app to come out and yet there is never any news of its impending release. You would think that a company that has been around doing financial programs for Mac and Windows as long as Quicken has, would have had an iPhone out at least a year ago. I have been hesitant to switch but I may just do that since IGG Software is offering an interesting rebate program aimed at switchers called "Why Wait Another Day?" My bank (along with many others) is listed as being compatible with their download system, and with the iPhone app I can make sure it is always accurate. I'm not saying I am switching for sure, but I'm leaning that way. How about you? What financial software do you use? Is this enough to get you to switch to iBank?
