It's Software Bundle Time Again

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 01:00 AM

The MacBundles is one, and the other one is from the folks at MacLegion. Different programs in each bundle so make sure the software is something you are going to use before purchasing either of these bundles. I've purchased them in the past then realized I only used one or two programs, and it would have been more cost effective for me to just buy them direct instead of a bundle.

Latest MacBundle Announced

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 07:00 AM

http://www.macworld.com/article/151...l?lsrc=rss_main

"Another month, another bundle: For the budget-minded, TheMacBundles has released a new set of 12 software titles for a low price. As the site did back in March, it's offering all of the apps as a $50 package, but there's also a BYOB (Build Your Own Bundle) option, where you can pick and choose the titles you want."

I'm glad they came out with the BYOB when they did, and that they have continued to use it. If you want more info on what is available either in the bundle or the build your own set, head on over to the MacBundle site.

MacBundle With a Twist

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 12:00 PM

http://www.macworld.com/article/147...l?lsrc=rss_news

"The MacBundles has put a new spin on the now well established software bundling promotion. In addition to offering the usual "batch of a dozen software titles for $50," the MacBundles has created a BYOB (Build Your Own Bundle) option that lets you customize the package."

You can go over to the MacBundle main page and order all 12 of the programs, for a little less than $50.00 USD, or you can build your own package at the Build Your Own site. The advantage of the build your own is that you can pick 10 of the 12 programs in the MacBundle (as well as a few other choices) to create your own bundle. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee and the custom bundle option ends on April 12th, 2010.

iPrint On Sale and MacBundle On For 12 More Days

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Software (OS X)" @ 10:00 AM

http://prmac.com/release-id-8638.htm

"Until 11/21, the highly rated iPrint utility will be available at a 33% discount off of its regular price. This results in a price of only $9.95 (USD)."

To go along with the MacBundle sale, which only lasts for another 12 days, they are also selling iPrint at a discount. The MacBundle is the above 12 apps (or 11 if you don't buy the bundle in time to get the 12th one) for $49.95 USD, but if you buy the bundle and iPrint, you get an additional $5.00 USD off the total price.
