MileBug 50% Off Until January 15th

"The popular iPhone mileage log application, MileBug, is now available for half off the regular price. Only $1.99 through January 15th as a special New Year Sale to start off the new year right for tracking miles and expenses."

Only $1.99 USD in the iTunes App Store, it has some nice options, such as customizing mileage rates you want to use if you have to use a different one for work, but still need to use the IRS figure for certain things, for example. You can also email yourself a report so you have a hard copy, which is very nice come tax time. You can also get the free "lite" version that limits you to 10 trips so you can give it a try before you buy. What do you use to keep track of your mileage, have you found any gems?

Keep Track of Your Mileage on the iPhone

"Mileage documentation is one of the first things the IRS examines during an audit. With the release of Trip Cubby 2.0, App Cubby makes mileage logging even more quick and intuitive. It's an essential tool for anyone who needs to track mileage for tax deduction or reimbursement."

This app seems to do it all regarding mileage tracking, as it should for an app priced at $9.99 USD. I have always used a simple spiral notepad for my mileage tracking and it works just fine for my limited needs. This is intriguing though since I'm trying to do as much as I can with my iPhone these days and this would be one less notebook to keep around. At the price they want I would be hesitant to try it out, but since they offer a "Trip Cubby Lite" that has a limit of 5 records and is free, I may have to see how it compares to my pen and notebook system.
