"The New York Times has sold more than 100,000 digital subscriptions in the three weeks since its launch, the publication revealed in its first-quarter earnings statement Thursday morning."
The launch of this offered $0.99 USD subscriptions, so I'm wondering how many of these were just the trial offers and more importantly, how many will stick with it once the trial period ends. If they do keep everyone, which seems unlikely to me, they will add another $20 million to their bottom line. Not bad and definitely needed since their operating profit is down 41% from last year.
