This Custom iPad Case is Amazing

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad" @ 05:00 AM

"Holy crap. Check out this amazing custom iPad cover Redditor 44 Oz. had made for him by Australian-based leatherworking firm High On Glue, made with premium leather, suede lining, a kangaroo leather spine and embossed with the original Apple logo designed by Ron Wayne back in 1976, featuring Sir Isaac Newton resting under an Apple tree."

I'm with the author, as I don't normally like folio cases either but this one is certainly amazing. Makes me wish I had continued on with my leatherwork practice from 4H. If you want to order one, you can go check it out on this page and get your email in, it might be awhile though.

Noreve's iPad 2 Leather Sleeve Reviewed

Posted by Jason Dunn in "Laptop Thoughts Accessories" @ 08:00 AM

The Noreve iPad 2 Leather Sleeve is a simple product that does the job of protecting your iPad 2 in style - it retails for 79.99 Euro, which is about $118 USD depending on the currency rate. It' not a cheap case - it's a high-end, almost fashion-like product for a certain type of buyer. The leather is luxurious and the case screams quality. Check out the video for the full review.

He enjoys photography, mobile devices, blogging, digital media content creation/editing, and pretty much all technology. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his lovely wife, his wonderful son Logan, and his sometimes obedient dog. Summary:

Haute couture is a French term reserved for clothing of the finest craftsmanship, most exclusive materials, and one-off custom-fitted design. In this world beads are often jewels, and threads are commonly made of real gold and silver. I can speak to this directly, as my wife studied at the Haute Couture House of Lesage, in Paris, France. I myself, have held a dress valued at nearly half a million dollars. But one question has since beseeched an answer: when draped in such a work of art, how does one dress their electronics to match? Noreve Saint-Tropez elegantly presents the answer in their line of Haute Couture cases for mobile devices. Read more...

Need a Fancy Sleeve for Your MacBook?

Posted by Jeff Campbell in "Apple Laptops" @ 07:00 AM

http://www.cultofmac.com/high-end-m...w+(Cult+of+Mac)

"I've never paid much attention to laptop sleeves, but as they get fancier and fancier, they are becoming perhaps the most popular MacBook accessory out there. At least, that's according to one high-end sleeve and case maker from Australia."

These are definitely nice cases/sleeves, and they should be for what they charge, starting at $99.95 USD and going up from there. They have quite the collection on their website, including some phone cases. If I were in the business of meeting clients, etc and wanted to make an impression, I might consider something like this.
