Speck has been around awhile, making cases for a variety of products such as the Amazon Kindle, various GPS devices, MacBooks, iPods and of course the iPhone. For the iPhone 4 lineup, they have a variety of colors and styles, one to suit just about anyone, with prices ranging from $24.95 to $39.95 USD. For example, in the image above, the white case is the CandyShell version, retailing for $34.95 USD while the one above that is the Black and White Plaid Fitted, retailing for $29.95 USD. First winner will have their choice of either the red SeeThru Satin case shown above left, or the Fitted2 case in Houndstooth Yellow. Speck products have been around awhile, well, 9 years in fact since they debuted their first product in 2001 at Macworld. They offer a variety of cases for everything from hard drives and Kindles to Macbooks and iPods. They have recently added bags and sleeves to the product line. I've used many over the years to protect my various incarnations of iPhones as well as my Macbook Pro, and they have served their purpose very well. Recently they came out with a couple new versions of their SeeThru Satin [Affiliate Link] and Fitted2 cases [affiliate link] for the iPhone 3G/3GS, both retailing for $29.95 USD. I put these two cases together in this article to provide a little contrast to what each one offers.

Now that Christmas has passed, I'm sure that some of you were on the nice list, and may have even been given a new white UniBody MacBook. If that is the case, then this is the contest for you!

The generous folks at Speck have given us two cases to give away, and to enter all you have to do is post a message in the discussion thread. The first winner, chosen randomly from the messages, will get his or her choice of the clear or the red Speck SeeThru case, designed specifically for the white MacBook Unibody. Obviously, the 2nd winner will get the remaining one. Just so you know, the clear case has been opened as I used that for my review posted earlier today, however everything that came with the case is intact. The contest closes on January 11th, 2010 at 12pm, which is UTC/GMT -8. Winners will be contacted via private message in the forum and will have 72 hours to claim their prize from time of notification. When I first picked up my MacBook Pro couple years ago, a Speck Hard Shell was one of the first things I ordered for it, and it has served it well over the years. Now Speck is continuing with the protection of all things Mac by coming out with a hard shell case called the "SeeThru" for the new white MacBook Unibody.
