Apple Thoughts - News & Reviews on all things Apple

Oh just to show how far Apple has come, and since it is almost showtime for Apple, tick tock. I almost bought one of these when they came out, they were pretty slick for their time.

I almost bought one of these when they were first introduced, but for some reason I didn't. If I had, I'd be all over this conference. Check out what they are going to cover, and all for only $55.00 US: Uses for Newton in Today's World, Newton Programming 101 for Beginners and How to Network the Newton are among several topics attendees will get to attend. I shouldn't jest, apparently there is a "vital community of Newton enthusiasts" out there. If you are one of them, you can register for this conference at the WWNC page, and it runs from July 31st through August 2nd in Vancouver, B.C.

I've always said that the only reason the Newton failed was because it was too far ahead of its time to succeed. I'll never be convinced otherwise. Enjoy this trip down memory lane, and remember; this video is only 20 or so years old. Look how far we've come (and at the same time look how much has stayed similar or the same) since!
